The easiest way to make sweet potato fries(STEP BY STEP)!!

Hello everyone. Today I am sharing with you a recipe I am absolutely OBSESSED with. I make this meal almost every single night for dinner. My parents joke and tell me, I'm going to turn orange at the rate that I eat this. I could be contestant on the youtube channel "only human" for having an addiction with these things.   I would say I have a good reason to be. These fries are healthy and so simple to make they only require three ingredients, two of which are staples that most people already have sitting in  pantry right now. As much as I love these fries I equally love the sauce I pair them with. My two favorite sauces are my vegan version of Freddy's fry sauce and Chick-Fil-A honey mustard sauce. Being known for my love of sauces and weird pairings of them I could'nt imagine having to give them up when I became vegan. So I experimented in the kitchen to make my own versions that are just as delicious. I will be sharing my vegan sauces with you in my next post so be sure to subscribe to my news letter or come back to my page the next few days if you are equally obsessed and want to see that post.

Ingredients

  • 1-Sweet Potato

  • 1 Tbs- Olive oil

  • Cavender's seasoning(or seasoning of choice)

Step 1- Preheat oven to 425`F

Step 2- rinse sweet potato, and scrub or peel the skin off( leaving it on makes it crispier)

Step 3- Cut potato in half diagonal ways, and place the half where it was cut on the cutting board.

Step 4- Using a sharp knife Start from the top of the potato and cut down work. You can cut them any thickness you would like but keep in mind they will shrink down a lot in the oven.

Step 5- Stack up your flat potatoes slices in the same order they were cut in, not including the rounded ends. Cut the potato into thin slices. Be sure to firmly hold the slices together while you are cutting them so they don't slip.

Step 6- Repeat the same process to the other half of your potato.

Step 7- Place your fries on a baking sheet covered with aluminum foil, and drizzle about a tablespoon of oil on them,( make sure you do this slowly adding too much oil will make your fries soggy. Now add any seasoning you would like, I recommend Cavender's it basically has all the seasonings you would want all in one. Toss your fries around to evenly coat them with oil.

Step 8- Place in the oven at 425`F and bake them for 10-12 minutes and flip them with a spatula. Bake for 10-12 more minutes and Enjoy!
